Yurema Rapé, Jurema Preta
This traditional Yurema rapé is made with the ash of Mimosa tenuiflora, joined with tobacco and other botanicals, uniting the strength of Amazonian tradition with deep inner work. Yurema, also known as jurema preta, has held a central place for centuries in the spiritual and healing practices of indigenous peoples in Brazil, above all in rituals of cleansing, introspection and connection with inner strength.
Its effect is grounding and centering, with a strong focus on mental clarity and on stabilizing the inner field. It works with the third eye, the heart and the center of will: thoughts become clearer, emotions settle, awareness returns to the present moment.
In ethnobotanical studies, jurema bark is known for its high tannin content. That is why it has traditionally been used for cleansing, for the breath, and to calm inflammation.
When to Use Yurema Rapé
- During meditation and practices of inner focus
- When the mind is scattered or emotions are tense
- Before or after deep energetic processes
- In moments of reflection, when you are looking for a clear direction
Receive it with a kuripe or a tepi. If you are new to rapé, the lighter Yawanawa Rapé is a gentler start.
