Wild Cacao with Juniper and Spices

Wild Cacao is raw organic cacao powder from Peru, blended by Curandero.love in Serbia with cardamom, cinnamon, a pinch of Himalayan salt and wild Serbian juniper berries. Two wild traditions in one cup: the Amazon cacao and the Balkan kleka. The juniper gives it a resinous, forest freshness you will not find in any other cacao.

What Is in Wild Cacao

  • Raw Criollo cacao – rich in calcium, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc, with theobromine for steady energy. Its flavanols, above all epicatechin, are associated with better circulation and antioxidant protection.
  • Anandamide – named after the Sanskrit ananda, bliss. Few foods contain it, and cacao is one of them, which is why a cup of cacao feels like more than a drink.
  • Wild juniper – the berry is in fact a small, fleshy cone. In folk medicine it is traditionally used for digestion and as a cleansing diuretic, and in European cooking as a spice.
  • Cardamom – one of the oldest spices, mentioned in Sumerian records and in the Ayurvedic texts of India. Warm and bright.
  • Cinnamon – from the inner bark of the Cinnamomum tree, once a gift fit for kings, and one of the richest spices in antioxidants.
  • Himalayan salt – a pinch, mined in the Punjab region of Pakistan. It rounds the bitterness and opens the flavor.

This is not hot chocolate. No sugar, no milk powder: whole raw cacao, spices and a wild berry.

How to Prepare Wild Cacao

Stir 15 to 25g into water or plant milk heated to about 80°C, never boiling. Let it rest for a minute so the spices open, then drink slowly. On cold evenings it is the cup that warms from the inside.

Poklonite sebi ovu savršenu fuziju ukusa i uživajte u trenutku.
