Capim santo is nothing more exotic than lemongrass, the plant people in Asia and South America have known and used for centuries.

Capim Santo Rapé with Lemongrass

As tea and oil, lemongrass is traditionally used to calm the nerves and lift the mood, to warm the body and support digestion and circulation. In rapé it passes these qualities on to the tobacco: calming, and known for dispersing the dark clouds in the sky of the mind.

Rapé Capim Santo is cleansing and grounding. It brings mind, body and spirit into the here and now, and makes room for strength and clear thinking where the weight of life has settled. It is used to chase away sadness and the blues, making space for peace and joy, and to wake up the will to live and passion.

Solar Plexus and Heart

Capim Santo warms the solar plexus, the center of joy and delight, motivation to act, emotional balance, self-confidence and the realization of plans in the material world. It gently stirs the heart as well: love, sensitivity to beauty, the ability to forgive, and to take and give with joy. Together they wrap the “I” in warmth and support every inner process, including acceptance.

During meditation, keep fresh lemongrass close and let its scent help you feel the spirit of the plant even more. All our rapés are traditional and made by indigenous people from many different tribes, each one prepared with the wisdom of their elders. Every rapé contains tobacco, ashes, a mix of plants, and one plant that gives that rapé its specific power. New to this medicine? Read what rapé is.
